Dean Kamen, The Inventor of Segway
What a character!
In 2001, Dean Kamen announced the arrival of the first self-balancing, zero emissions personal transportation vehicle: the Segway® Personal Transporter (PT). Founded on the vision to develop highly-efficient, zero-emission transportation solutions using dynamic stabilization technology, Segway’s research and development was focused on creating devices that took up a minimal amount of space, were extremely maneuverable and could operate on pedestrian sidewalks and pathways.

Segways - Easy to Learn?
The simple answer is YES, but we do not encourage people to use the Segwqay without training some training. When people step onto a Segway they can´t believe how easy it is to use . The Segway is an amazing bit of technology and moves smoothly with your body.
We always provide training before clients embark on our tours and the Segways must be used with care and attention, apart from that they are great fun, and anyone can use them!
